How To Use the Today Widget

In iOS 8 the Unified Remote Today Widget lets you pin shortcuts to remote controls in the notification center. This makes it easy to access your favorite remote controls quickly without having to first start the app. Note this is only available in the full version.

Make sure you've unlocked the full version of Unified Remote. Expand the notification drawer and you should see the Unified Remote widget. Tap "Add Quick Switch".

In the "Settings" screen, select "Quick Switch".

Select the remote controls that you want to use for Quick Switch and then go back to the settings screen.

You're quick switch settings should now be saved. Expand the notification center again to see your remotes in the widget. Tapping a remote will open app that remote control in the app.
